The high-energy emission from black holes

Maria D. Caballero-Garcia, Institute of Astronomy

GRO J1655-40 and GX 339-4 are two well-known microquasars. In this poster we will show the obtained results with the INTEGRAL and XMM-Newton observatories and their correlation with radio observations. These provide valuous insights about the source of the high-energy emission in this kind of objects. This seems to be more compact and relativistic than previously found and seems to be originated from (inverse) Comptonization at the base of a jet.
